How We Verify Our Data
Every community page on HOA's HUB carries a “Verified 2026” badge. Here's exactly what that badge means, where our information comes from, and what you should always confirm on your own before making a decision.
What “Verified 2026” Means
The badge indicates that a community's core identifying details — its name, city, county, state, and the presence of a homeowners association — were reviewed against public sources during 2026. The “Last Updated” date shown on each community page reflects when that record was most recently reviewed.
Where Our Data Comes From
We assemble each listing from a combination of publicly available sources, including:
- Public business, mapping, and location records
- County and municipal records that identify planned communities and associations
- Association and management-company listings that are publicly published
- Publicly available real-estate market data
For a growing subset of communities we add enriched real-estate figures — such as median sale price, typical home size, and active inventory — drawn from real-estate market data. Where those figures are available, they are shown on the community page; where they are not, we simply don't display them.
What We Review
- Location & geography — the community's city, county, and state
- HOA presence — confirmation that a homeowners association governs the community
- Contact & management — where publicly listed
- Amenities & rules — where they are publicly documented
- Enriched real-estate figures — for select communities where market data is available
What We Don't Guarantee
HOA fees, special assessments, pet and rental policies, and rules change frequently. When a specific figure or policy is not published for a community, we may show a representative estimate for the area to help with early research. These estimates are not a substitute for the association's official documents. Before you rely on any number, always confirm it directly with the HOA or its management company. Keeping Data Fresh
Our directory is reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year. When we refresh a community's record, its “Last Updated” date is updated to reflect the most recent review.
